The SimplePart Control Panel, at a glance, provides detailed information about the performance of your website, effectiveness of your advertising spend and quick access to all pending (unshipped) orders.

Our goal is to give you bottom line visibility into every dollar you spend. Online advertising (SEM) can be strong source of high-converting traffic, and we provide the proof right up front.

On the Home Page, for each source of traffic (Partner) you'll see summary sales totals, advertising costs, conversion figures and a bottom line net profit - for each source. Paid sources are broken out to include Returning traffic, to make clear the recurring value of your ad spend.

Overall site performance, including weighted site conversion and measures of user satisfaction and fullfilment, is also available on the home page.


Orders

The Orders page gives you a simple way to process orders and maintain contact with your customers

For each order placed on a SimplePart website, there is a clear record of the vehicle the customer is buying for. This allows you to validate each order, and to keep record of customer/vehicle associations for marketing purposes.

Using the buttons along the top, you can Receive, Ship, Cancel or Print each order. You can also email customers directly from the Orders page, to keep them updated on their order status. Header and footer information is automatically added to format each email message.


Customers

SimplePart maintains a detailed history, for each customer, of how they found the website and what they did during their visits.

At a glance, the control panel shows that this customer found us through an AdWords campaign based on their Google search "MG CAR PARTS" - they've been to the site three separate times, and decided to purchase parts for their 1970 MG MGB

Each visit contributes to a customer profile that SimplePart builds, which is used to tailor product suggestions and search results. This detailed information is also available to build out email campaigns, for targeted promotions.


Research

SimplePart's Research panel is your source for detailed performance metrics for your website. These include both realtime figures as well as comparative measures and forecasting. Using this page you can run reports in real-time, as well as access information to manage POs and Pending Orders.

It's helpful to know how your site is performing today, relative to recent history. Are people buying more or less? How many people are visiting the site relative to the last few days? The Traffic Comparison graph shows you how your website is performing, in relative terms.

The Traffic By Source By Day report shows you where the visitors to your website are coming from

Returning customers are the best measure of site performance - a clean, friendly website and solid customer service gives your customers reasons to bookmark your site and make it their first stop for parts shopping. The Returning Users by Week report shows you how many users each week are repeat visitors.

Beyond simply knowing where your visitors are coming from, you need to know what source of traffic is driving the most sales. The Orders By Source report shows you, by week, how many parts orders come from each partner.

As your website evolves, and as we make updates to the SimplePart platform, you need to know how likely each website visitor is to convert into a customer. The Conversion By Week report shows you your site conversion rate over time. This is particularly helpful if seasonality plays a role in your sales volume.

The money you spend each month for Online Advertising goes towards showing ads to people as they browse the Internet. Some people may see your ads on search engines like Google, Yahoo and Live/MSN - others may see your ads contextually on other websites. It's not enough to have a high volume of traffic to your website, they need to be people who are interested in your products. The Week Keywords report shows you exactly what each of the people who clicked on your ads searched for (to be shown your ad), so you can be sure the traffic you're buying is relevant and of high quality.

Your SimplePart website produces sales for you every hour of every day. How much does that add up to per day, on average, each week? The Dollars per Day report shows you a historical average of daily sales volume broken out by week.

SimplePart strives to produce big orders by suggesting companion products, shirts, hats, accessories and books to each customer based on their purchases and customer profile. The Dollars per Customer report shows you the average size of each customer's order, by week.

In order to streamline order processing, SimplePart provides the Products on Pending Orders report. This is designed to be a printable report you can use to fulfill orders and process received POs from your suppliers.

Even if customers browse an do not buy, SimplePart keeps track. Using the Card Dollars Not Purchases you have a measure of purchase intent; the items put into carts by your customers but not bought.
